On the 16th of July 2015, the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT), General Jean-Paul Paloméros, visited the Joint Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Defence Centre of Excellence (JCBRN Defence COE)  in Vyškov.

The JCBRN Defence COE Director, COL Jiří GAJDOŠ, welcomed him and his delegation with an initial introduction of the COE, being followed by the COE Deputy Director with his portion of Command Brief focusing on the way ahead and the COE vision, the most important tasks in support of NATO, COE Framework and Development. Next the Department Directors Transformation Support Department and Training, Exercises and Education Department continued with their contribution. General Jean-Paul Paloméros has been briefed about Information Knowledge Management/CBRN Knowledge Base and finally about the Operation Support Department, the Operational Readiness and Reachback Capabilities in support of NATO as well. General Jean-Paul Paloméros very positively appreciated his visit to the JCBRN Defence COE and called it a valuable element in the structure of NATO.
