The JCBRN Defence COE in close cooperation with the US Department of Energy (DOE) / National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) conducted the International Radiological/Nuclear Training for Emergency Response (I-RAD) basic course for the Hellenic Armed Forces CBRN Joint School over the period 9 – 13 May in Athens, Greece.

The JCBRN Defence Centre of Excellence (COE) conducted the NATO CBRN Defence Evaluators course between 4th and 8th of April 2022. This was the first JCBRN Defence COE hybrid course organized for both residential, as well as virtual participants that met all the learning objectives while allowing the JCBRN Defence COE to further improve its e-learning capabilities and offerings.

From 27 March to 1 April 2022, the JCBRN Defence COE representatives participated in the "Military Strategic Partnership Conference 2022 (MSPC 22)", organized, and conducted by Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Partnership Directorate (PD), in Dublin, Ireland.

On the 6th of September 2021, I officially started my internship at the JCBRN Defence COE. During the subsequent six months of my stay at the COE, I was working on an overarching internship project. The topic of the project was "NATO-UN Strategic Level Cooperation on Consequence Management Focusing on CBRN Defence". The main objectives of the project were to identify challenges that both organizations experience in CBRN crisis management cooperation and propose possible recommendations that could overcome these challenges.
