On 11th June 2015 the US Army cadets visited the JCBRN Defence Centre of Excellence (COE). They were informed about the main tasks and objectives of the JCBRN Defence COE. The key leaders gave them some useful briefings about COE.

Members of COE visited FFI
Members of the JCBRN Defence COE visited the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment (FFI) on 19 February 2015 and were provided with an extensive overview of the organization and structure of the FFI, including a tour of the chemical, radiological and biological detection laboratories.
United Kingdom Defence Science and Technology Laboratory visited JCBRN Defence COE
On 28 January 2015, representatives of the United Kingdom Defence Science and Technology Laboratory and the Defence CBRN Centre Winterbourne Gunner visited the JCBRN Defence COE. The visit included briefings regarding the organization of the JCBRN Defence COE and the training and education programs offered at the JCBRN Defence COE as well as an overview of the UK DSTL and Defence CBRN Centre.
Introduction to the International CBRN Training Curriculum Course
Another iteration of the Introduction to the International CBRN Training Curriculum Course was organized by the Joint CBRN Defence Centre of Excellence (under NATO Civil Emergency Planning Committee) from 20 to 24 April 2015.
The aim was to ensure that CBRN first responders have a common knowledge base and a minimum level of preparedness when responding to CBRN incidents. Such training was designed to assist nations to improve their civil emergency plans, complement national training systems and improve co-operation between CBRN first responders.
18th JCBRN Defence COE Steering Committee Meeting
The JCBRN Defence COE Steering Committee met on 21 – 22 April 2015 with the participation of representatives of the Sponsoring Nations,along with representatives from Allied Command Transformation, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, NATO International Military Staff, Weapons of Mass Destruction and Non-Proliferation Centre and the European Union Military Staff (EUMS).
